I have a very odd issue wondered if anyone can shed any light on this.
The page with an ID of 1 that has been used as the homepage is not in the manager menu, it still views fine from the front end but I noticed it was in the the site menu so I thought somehow the hide from menus box was checked. I had a look in the menu and the page is just not there, I have got the page back in the menu by creating a weblink to it, I have gone though all containers making sure it has not been dragged into one of them and I can see the page in batcher.
I am no genius with modx so I could have done anything, the only thing I was doing was turning on FURLs does anyone have any ideas how I can get this page back in the manager menu.
Thanks
Ian
ok then sitecms sorted it.
Your post certainly pointed me in the right direction, What had happened the page had been dragged under another resource in tree which was in fact a deleted resource and when I was scanning down the list I never noticed one of these deleted pages has turned into a container.
Sounds like a really stupid problem to make a post about now I know what the issue was but hopefully this post might help out anyone else who is a switched off as I am )-:
I found out where to look for it in the modx_site_content row in the database which as a column called parent so once I see the parent had an ID of 70 it was easy to find it in the manager menu.
I think also while editing things via my laptop with one eye on the TV might have been reason the page got dragged to a new location.
Cheers
Ian
