scriptaculous, mootools conflict

I’m using scriptaculous Element.hide/show or Effect.toggle, works great but as soon as I log in the manager nothing works.

Get error like:

Element.hide is not a function
[Break on this error] Element.hide(’name_error’);

Element.getStyle is not a function
[Break on this error] if (Element.getStyle(element, ’display’) != ’none’)



Looks like the mootlools when loaded for QuickEdit conflict with scriptaculous.
Found a post from somebody having the same problem but no answer anybody have a solution?

Scriptaculous and Mootools in fact don’t play well together. You can turn of Quickedit in the interim for testing (the plugin), and your non-manager users will never see QuickEdit so the "live" site shouldn’t have this problem.
