MODX Developer Needed for Immediate Project Work (North America/Remote)

Hi guys,

We're a web agency in Toronto, Canada with over a decade of web design/dev experience under our belts.

We have a MODX project where the lead developer has had to take a leave of absence and we need to keep rolling along.

By our best estimate we are 70-80% complete and have perhaps 30-45 hours of work left to complete on project.

This work is largely about building forms, importing/filtering data from an offline DB and connecting the payment gateway.

We need someone with a fairly open schedule that can take this on ASAP.

Remote work is fine, but reliability, excellent communication skills and expert MODX/MySQL skills are a must.

Pay is $50/hr x assigned hours for assigned/agreed upon project modules.

Successful completion will lead to future engagements.

Then there has to be some measurement to come to a mutual agreement on how many hours it will take to accomplish such a job. Also will the payment been done at the end when the job is finished, or will it be payed in parts, each time after finishing a part of the job ? 50 dollar per hour would not be 50 euro per hour. 1 dollar equals about 0,75 euro so that would be 37,46 euro per hour if someone would do the job in europe. Interesting.

The details above are scant only due to the public nature of the forum.

Once we identify the right team member, a full contract will be authored to cover all eventualities as per our usual modus operendi. We've been doing this a long time...we're not some random company thinking they can build Amazon for $200.

We agree to project specs, total contract value and hours up front. We provide a deposit up front, and the rest on delivery.
