I have 8 resources under a single category document, there are 4 articles and then 4 pages with notes for each article. I've been doing a lot of editing on these and at some point I occasionally get what's seen here in the resources tree. Resetting the browser clears it for a while. The resources are not duplicated - it's just a rendering/visual issue.
Loved ModX when I was using it a few years ago. Shifted to WordPress, sorry. Thanks, all.

Never seen that before... did you find a way to reproduce by any chance? Latest version of Revo too?
You might try turning off the compress_js and compress_css System Settings and see if that makes a difference. I've seen it cure a lot of weird display problems in the Manager.
On v2.2.6-pl traditional.
I can't intentionally reproduce it, but it did happen a few times. If I just ignore it, at some point it resets.

I had that happen on one installation, after clearing caches and cookies a couple of time it just went away and I've never seen it again.
