Simple File Upload filenames problem

    All files uploaded trough the Simple File Upload TV get some kind of prefix for example 17-3.filename.jpg
    The 17-3 is added by Simple File Upload TV.
    I gues this is done to prevent problems with uploading a file with the same filename twice.
    Is there any way to disable this?

      The description says the prefix is optional. Is it not configurable in the TV input options tab?

        Thanx for your reply.
        No thats a different prefix I think.
        I left the prefix field blank.

          I left the field blank, everything is at it default value.
          I have the same problem with the prefixes being added.

          There does not seem to be many examples or details on how to use this.
          Is there any other options for uploading files?
          I just want to upload a PDF file and create a link on the page for it.
          Setting up a regular TV does not work either.

          Seems like a simple request, but difficult to achieve?

            I was able to get the basic TV to work with the default output template.

            I then had to manually put in the folder directory, see below.
            [[*eventFlyer:notempty=`<a href="/assets/flyers/[[*eventFlyer]]" target="_blank"><strong>Event Flyer</strong></a>`]]
