Formit does not generate the form. You put your form in HTML like any HTML form, and FormIt will work with it.
Can you give a link to the "help" you are talking about?
Ok, "emailTpl" is the tpl used for sending the email. It's part of the built-in "email" hook. It has nothing to do with the form. As I said before, the form is an ordinary HTML form in your content.

IOW, put that HTML code you posted just below the FormIt tag in the Resource Content field, not in a chunk.
If the form is working, but no email is sent, try installing the QuickEmail extra to see if your mail system is working:

Check your spam folder. If you really didn't get it, there may be something wrong with your hosts email setup. You might try using SMTP.

No, I have checked all the available options but could not find any thing. Why the mail is not coming to me. Can any one help.

If QuickEmail is reporting success, it means that the email is making it to the host's email system and the host's email system is reporting back that it was successfully sent. I don't think anyone but your host can help you with this.
As I said above, I would try using SMTP (see the QuickEmail docs).

That usually means that you have set the MODX SMTP System Settings incorrectly.
