I changed the snippet in the template header to:
require_once "chat/src/phpfreechat.class.php";
//$name = $modx->user->get('username');
//return $name;
$params = array();
$params["title"] = "Quick chat";
$params["nick"] = "guest".rand(1,1000); // setup the intitial nickname
//$params["nick"] = $name;
//$params['firstisadmin'] = true;
//$params["isadmin"] = true; // makes everybody admin: do not use it on production servers ;)
$params["serverid"] = md5(__FILE__); // calculate a unique id for this chat
$params["debug"] = false;
$chat = new phpFreeChat( $params );
Commenting out references to $name etc.
But just getting an error 500...
I then put both snippets together in the body of the template and got a little further, but now getting an error about files not being found:
Error: 'chat/data/public/themes/default/chat.js.tpl.php' could not be found, please check your themepath 'chat/src/../themes' and your theme 'default' are correct
I checked the file location and it's fine- but I'm starting to think this package is jyust going to be full of many files that will need to be reconfigured and need locations changing and it will be a needle/haystack job.
If anyone knows of any chat software that will work easily with Revo... please let me know!
