How to combine getResources, sortByTV, and a SELECT dropdown to choose which TV to sortBy ?

I hope everything is in the question...

I'd have to list some products using getResources and give the possibility to choose which criteria the products are sorted by, using a <select> dropdown list, that would display the TV's. It might sound simple to do but I have poor dev experience. Can someone try to lay some track for me please ?

Can you load all of the tv's and do the sort/filter in Javascript? I can't think of a way to change a getResources call without a page reload with a url parameter.

huh i can load all the TVs indeed but i have no clue about how to do the sort in Javascript...

I would probably add a data attribute to the tv's output and sort by those. Hard to tell the exact scenario without a demo link.
