I'm sure this is known by those who have been around for a while but I don't see the answer.

    modxcms.com does a forward to modx.com.
    wiki.modxcms.com is a mediawiki subdomain.
wiki.modx.com returns a server error. I think for now it should forward to wiki.modcms.com.
OR, to be consistent, perhaps in the long run wiki.modxcms.com should go to wiki.modx.com?

Is that just an oversight or is there an intentional disparity between these domains?

    Shouldn't *.modxcms.com go to *.modx.com?

    Thanks.

modxcms.com is the old domain that hasn't actively been used for a long time, other than for the old wiki you found at wiki.modxcms.com.

Most of the wiki.modxcms.com has (or should have been) moved to http://rtfm.modx.com/display/Evo1/Home; as wiki.modxcms.com deals with Evolution (1.x) only.

http://rtfm.modx.com is where the official documentation is. So wiki.modx.com should probably redirect (or be aliased) there.

As for wiki.modxcms.com.. if everything is in the rtfm, it could probably be taken down and redirected, but with all the evo resources pointing there still, there is a value in keeping it up. I think it's a community member that manages that server still, too.

OMG, I had no idea that the mediawiki environment was Evo-only or deprecated. I keep referring to RTFM and the wiki as though they're different but current repositories, and no one corrects me. I just thought the wiki was outdated and needed some TLC.

This is awful! Can someone update the wiki homepage with a note that says "If you are using the current Revolution v2 MODx CMS then go Here!" ?

To keep even more people from fumbling around with dead docs and pages that don't apply to the current platform, I'd recommend that wiki.modx.com go to http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Home
That's a simple link to current data. I can't imagine there would be too much debate on that.

        Thanks!

I do believe I mentioned it in one of the first few threads we conversed in.

Understandable that you missed it though. I am yappy...
