site with specific user group can access pages but NOT files, how to fix??

    Have modx website with restricted access, requires login to enter the site and see pages, etc.
    Several pages contain links to PDF files stored in a media source directory, I've chmodded everything to 755.
    They get 'unauthorized access' in the title bar, then redirected to the LOGOUT page if trying to access files, HOW DO I FIX THIS??

    P.S. This is not a resource groups issue, this is the FILES in the MEDIA SOURCE location...

      Fixed...by setting media source access for the user group. Got lucky this time.
