Is there anyway to preview an edit to a resource without clicking save and making the changes live ?
hi bobRay thanks for this, the extra looks very interesting, but what I am really looking for is a preview button - so I can view my changes and then when I am happy with how it looks, click a publish button. At the moment as soon as you hit save, your changes are live for anyone to see.

Not if you save it unpublished, then only logged-in Manager users can see it.
But then it will be removed from the live site...
Create an unpublished duplicate of the resource and do the editing with this.
StageCoach automatically creates a duplicate 'Staged' document in the "Staged Documents" folder, which you can work on and preview all you want. When it's ready, you set the date to implement the changes on the original to earlier today (or some date in the future). The next visitor sees the changed version and the duplicate is deleted.
