How to create a blog with evo 1.0.5

Hi guys! I have to create a blog for a revo 1.0.5 site, does anyone knows about a tutorial or want's to share a link? Thanks.

First, please upgrade your site to 1.0.7. Older versions are subject to a security vulnerability that is being exploited in the wild.

If you install the sample site, you'll have one blog configuration. You could also use PKBlog, based on the PubKit snippet http://www.pogwatch.com/pkblog.html

Personally, when I used Evo I preferred a combination of QuickManager+ and Ditto for blogs.

Create a resource to be the blog container. Create a manager user that has that page as his login home ID. Use the QM+ menu to create new blog posts. Use Ditto for listing the blog summaries wherever desired, and use Jot for handling comments.

pkBlog is no longer supported

on the above-linked page. I'm continuing development of PubKit itself, and once the big-bang style expansion of its universe ends, may come back to a slim blog-oriented mini package. One reason for leaving pkBlog behind was that I had some problems with preserving the rich-text input data at some stages of the edit/re-edit process using recent versions of MODX Evo.
