Obviously Categories are meant to organize elements in MODx Revolution... But when calling elements in templates or the such, can you specify category specific elements? For example, if I wanted to call a chunk in a specific category, is that possible?
Thank you!

There's no way to specify a category in an element tag, but you could easily write a snippet that would do it. That said, I don't think you can have elements with duplicate names so I'm not sure what the point would be since it would always be faster to just call the chunk by name.
If it would serve your purpose, you could prefix the element name with the category name.

Thanks for the kind words, but I'll settle for demigod.

You're welcome Bob, but you have to remember that you're the one with 13,235 posts of assumed free support. At least you don't charge $300.00 for an answer.

Ah, but they don't just give answers, they do heavy-duty solutions for that. Stuff that I couldn't do even if you were to offer to pay me that much! They leave the "simple" stuff to the community. And Jason and Shaun aren't at all above answering questions and solving problems for free on the forums.
