first of some infos:
i currently started doing my first 3rd party component for modx. it all works really fine till yet and i really enjoy working with modx
the compontent is there to manage 'boxes' and their values, which the user can set via a TV (multiselect) to specific ressources and make the output with an given snipppet in the template etc...
Now my question is, how would you make this component multilingual?
make multi DB entries, or safe json data to the DB or something like that?
My attempt would be to make system settings where we can set which languages are available (also which is the default one) and for which contexts they are used.
Then make a combobox in the grid view and show the selected language values for the boxes (like in the lexicon management).
This combobox is used to change the language and update the right values on an update.
I hope you know what i mean?
