Fellow Modx Evangelist,
I have installed Modx on 6 accounts without incident.
After installing Modx 0.9.6 on my root domain account, I received this
server warning from my dedicated hosting provider.
"Below are the recently upload scripts that contain code to send e-mail.
You may wish to inspect them to ensure they are not sending out SPAM."
assets/cache/siteCache.idx.php
assets/snippets/jot/jot.class.inc.php
includes/controls/class.phpmailer.php
(all to various ports)
I have permissions set:
assets/cache (777)
assets/cache/siteCache.idx.php(666)
assets/cache/sitePublishing.idx.php(666)
assets/export (777)
assets/images (777)
manager/includes/config.inc.php(444)
Server info:
WHM 11.2.0 cPanel 11.11.0-R16983
CENTOS Enterprise 4.4 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0
PHP 4.4.7
This is my root domain (not root IP).
Does anyone know, if this normal Modx behavior or something of a concern?
Thank you so much.

I get those from my server every time I install MODx or add a snippet/module that mails. This is just a warning from your server that such a script was installed, and you should be aware of it just in case something is wrong.
That is a cPanel feature that warns you if any mail script is uploaded, it runs daily. It is really a cool feature, I host a few clients and friends and get warnings if anyone uploads a mail scripts and can check it out.
