    Use the TV to trigger a snippet, so that the CSS files can be loaded in the head, and javascript can be loaded at the bottom of the template.

    $modx->regClientCSS($cssfile); // loads in head of template
$modx->regClientStartupScript($js); // loads in head of template
$modx->regClientScript($js); // loads at bottom of template

      I am still struggling with the tweet. I want to pass the following parameters to twitter:

      "A new event has been entered in $city: $linkToCityBranchOfSite"

      But a cant figure out how to make an url of the parent ID. Or even get the pagetitle (which is the city name).

        I handled the link like this, but why does makeUrl() not work?
