looking for a paypal module

Hi,

I'm looking for a paypal module that tracks transactions and items in a transaction.
So basically after each payment submit I would like to be able to generate some sort of reports or display all the transactions and the items.

I'm not using anything at this point. I think I'm basically looking for startup code/module that I can modify. I had a look at the paypal docs but It will take a long time to do it, so like I said was looking for something that is already out there that I can use to start and customize/improve

I believe FoxyCart has the integration with MODX http://docs.foxycart.com/integration/start?datasrt=&dataflt[]=system%3DMODx.

I've never used that, though.

Great Post! This javascript cart seems to fill the ecommerce gap for both Evo and Revo ! http://simplecartjs.org/features/ I think the modx3 developers should have a look at this too.

Unfortunately I don't need a cart, I already have one, I need the logic/code that sends information back to modx from paypal (once the transaction is over) to be stored in a custom modx database.

Then you need a resource with a snippet to parse and process the return from PayPal, and tell PayPal to return to that page. The PayPal documentation is pretty clear on what values it will return. There are different types of PayPal accounts; here's a pretty good tutorial on handling IPN in PHP.
