Answered Image TV no output, or just file name

    Three test clouds, one torch, one reinstall of torched, and two existing Clouds later...

    I'm convinced this is a cloud issue. All my clouds are broken for image TV's. No wonder nothing else is working properly (conditionals aren't working well either).

    The last test cloud was as fresh as it could possibly be. Created an image TV, associated it with the base template, plunked an image into it on the default home page, called the TV in the content...

    I got an image name again. Blech!

    Two other clouds, not yet used but existing and waiting also can't do image TV's. I've got one other to check, but apparently creating an admin user there gorked and I gave up. It's probably broken too. I just didn't notice before because I hadn't tried it.

    I've sent a ticket, and they'll figure it out I'm sure. So far, me, image TV's, and Cloud have yet to find our happy spot. I only lost a few days on this one but I really can't do much else there now that I know it's sick and won't do my bidding. :~{

      Frogabog, can you post your media source configuration? Or are you using the default filesystem media source with no configurations whatsoever? What is the value that you see in the TV field when editing the resource, and how does that match with where the file resides on the file system?

      This being a Cloud specific issue is unlikely and knowing more about what you setup specifically will either confirm or deny that.

        I changed nothing in media sources while testing this in other clouds. It occurs in all the clouds, only one of which did I bother to change the media source. Then I changed it back, same...

        I installed two clouds last night and torched two. In one new cloud I installed a few packages, and in one I installed nothing and did nothing but install, log in, create image tv, assign to template (base), open home id 1, go to TV, upload one image to assets, select it, and then insert [[*imageTV]] into the content and view the resource.

        I checked all the clouds except one because the add admin didn't work and I was tired so I gave up. I assume this one doesn't work, because the 4 others don't work.

          Right. I'm back to basics with this. The path issue seems to be related to media sources, yes. Since while testing the other clouds I did not set any media sources at all and in those clouds I get assets/imagename.jpg instead of just the image name like in the cloud where I've got media sources set to go directly to assets/images.
