    Our sites are hosted on godaddy. We're using MODX Revolution.
    I have a site in development in a subdomain and don't know how to bring it live - nor can GoDaddy customer service help me out. The only posts I found related to this are 3 years old.

    I've given the url sitename.com for the purposes of this post only - don't have permission to use actual site name.

    Live site: www.sitename.com
    Site in Development: development.sitename.com

    Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

      Moving from subfolder to root follows the same method as is detailed in the documentation for moving to a new server. Make sure to check all the config files shown (about half way down the page in the link from above).

          Make sure to disable .htaccess first. Re-enable that only after all is working properly.

          Post back here if you have troubles, and have fun! :~}
