When creating a repeating event for a Wednesday, the first instance shows the correct date, but the subsequent ones show it as occurring on Tuesdays. The phpinfo() for the date part is:

    date/time support enabled
    "Olson" Timezone Database Version 2012.3
    Timezone Database internal
    Default timezone America/Chicago

Does the same thing happen if you set up a new reoccurring event?

I was able to create one other event repeat on a different day and it worked. What appears to be the issue is that when creating a new event, the recurring every X amount of days does not want to take hold in the initial creation when trying it in multiple browsers (Chrome and IE 10). It moves the drop down to the upper left corner and no matter what is selected, the drop down box is not filled. The event that worked for some reason let me set that recurring amount without this bug. When I go back into the event and make it recurring, it then has the day off issue, I tried different days and it happens again. Tried different categories, same issue. Tried different amounts of weeks, same issue. Setting it to once a month works fine.

I'm a little confused. Which event is buggy? The new one that worked, or the original that didn't? Or both?

Sorry about that. It worked once. Then when I tried to do a second event, it was buggy (with the drop down going to the top left and not saving the entry that I select). I tried to create several events in different categories, different days, different weeks between them, they all had the same issue. I also tried another PC as well with the same issue.

Rather than trying to describe the issue, I will upload a screenshot so you can see whats going on. When you click a selection, it goes away, but won't populate the dropdown.

I think I saw that myself, but I wasn't trying to set up a reoccurring event so I didn't see the result of clicking. I'm sure Charles will be back soon. If not, do be sure to contact him directly at http://charlesmx.com/ or even post in the comments on the mxCalendar page. Looks as if there's a new version coming out soon on git which may have a solution already.

Yes, I immediately noticed that on version 2.2.6. Looks like something in the core changed the way its rendering, I'll see what I can do.

                  Cheers
