    Hi there

I’ve built a website in modx on our testing server with absolutely no problems. When it came to uploading to the clients server at Lycos, everything went well until trying to access index.php, which gave a completely blank page. This occured both with my edited version of the website, and a clean modx install. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Details of the server that are available to me are below:

PHP Version: 4.3.10 (This is the first difference as our testing server runs on version 5.1.6)
    OS: Linux
    MySQL Version 5

Modx Version 0.9.6 with default plugins/snippets

IE6/IE7/Firefox/Safari all give the same results.
Win XP/Vista and Mac OS 10 all same results.

    Many thanks in advance!

Is that free/cheap hosting ? This could explain... Beware that there are lots of limitations running a website from a cheap host, which make some tweaks and hacks necessary to those very peculiar server settings... we had a MODx version specific for "Free", a big french internet provider which offer free hosting but it took quite a bit of modification to MODx... I am not aware of other "customized" MODx distributions though.

See if the auto_prepend_file setting is set with a value in the phpinfo there. If so, this should solve it.
