    Sorry the bad English.

I want to build a website for geoPosition, basically the website will be the google maps in 100% with the possibility to change the categories... something like this
    https://www.thelevelup.com/divisions/atlanta/merchants

The menu structure its something like this:

    ISLAND 1
    - cofe places
    - swiming pools
    - discos
    - hotels

    ISLAND 2
    - cofe places
    - swiming pools
    - discos
    - hotels

    ISLAND 3
    - cofe places
    - swiming pools
    - discos
    - hotels

    ISLAND 4
    - cofe places
    - swiming pools
    - discos
    - hotels

Sure you can, you can do pretty much anything with modx - 99% of the time it's only your own abilities that sets the limit.
I made a map sort of like that for a client and that was an easy integration - the google api is pretty good and have a decent documentation: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/tutorial

        Tanks Mathias for the replay,

But to do the map with the categories, did you need to make lots of hard code? Did you use any plugin?

        Tks

I did make a fair amount of custom code and javascript (jQuery) to make it work.

I didn't use a plugin, even though I could have used getResources to make the json list for the markers on the map. Instead I made a custom snippet.
