REVO 2.2.6 - after installation ERROR 500

    Fresh install modx 2.2.6 successfully, but when you go to the main page or in the manager / - error 500. Wrong there is a write to a file config.inc.php

    $ database_type = '{database_type}';
$ database_server = '{database_server}';
$ database_user = '{database_user}';
$ database_password = '{database_password}';

    ........
      etc.

    And should be so:

    $ database_type = 'mysql';
$ database_server = 'localhost';
$ database_user = 'root';
$ database_password = 'mypassword';


      Versions 2.2.5 and 2.2.4 are installed and functioning properly.

    Is this a bug or what?

    Please help solve the problem.

      I've seen this happen when PHP failed to write the config file during installation, but I cannot reproduce it normally. Any further details you can provide on exactly the steps you took, or any errors logged in your environment or in the MODX core/cache/logs/ directory, would be helpful.

          If this happens, it means some part of the installation failed. Start with a clean database and retry the new install if you run into this error.

            Installation is completely at 100% and then there is error 500, I can give you access to the test domain that you yourself have replicated the situation.

              I did a clean install with a new database of over 10 times ... the result is always the same error 500:(

                I have the same error with an "update" from 2.2.6 to 2.2.6. I have it reproducable and filed in on tracker. Jason, do you want access to my server to investigate? http://tracker.modx.com/issues/9292

                    Cause incorrect installation extensions google chrome. What extension affects the incorrect installation could not figure out. But in other browsers Mozilla FF and Opera modx 2.2.6 installed successfully. Need to check the expansion of google chrome or disable all browser extensions to the installation modx.

                      Hi virtuos, seem it come from your PHP+PDO installation. Some PDO driver not stable (have bugs), and you better upgrade it to the newest version.
