I noticed that the resource browser of MODx uses a kind of thumbnail previewing and rename/delete buttons for images.
At first I assumed this is some kind of a built-in feature that ships with the FCKEditor releases. Then however I found out that no such thing is included in the current release version 2.4.3.

We run our own copy of the FCKEditor for one of our website’s custom made cms. I would like to mimic the same functionality there.
So my question is: How was this achieved? I assume some open source plugin is available? Could anyone give me some links with downloads/information related to it?

    Thanks in advance.

Sorry to bump this, but I imagine it is not unlikely likely someone has the answere to this as it didn’t implement itself smiley

The resource browser is MCPuk; you’ll find its files in /manager/media/browser. I have no idea how it’s actually implemented, though.

Thank you that’s just what i wanted to know, I will have a look and see if I can figure out how to get something comparable running myself.

I had a quick look at their project website. Unfortunately it, as well as the project itself, look a little frozen at the moment. However that’s allright for me as the feature set i saw in the version modx uses is quite sufficient.
