Hi everyone,
I'm trying to develop a module on modx revolution. I use a plugin with the event OnWebPagePrerender.
The problem is that when the plugin is executed, it does load my current resource, but it also loads my home resource.

if ($modx->event->name == 'OnWebPagePrerender') {
	$modx->log(modX::LOG_LEVEL_ERROR,'nb exec'.$modx->resource->get('id'));
}

Have you ever encounter this problem ?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

add this before your code:

if ( $modx->context->get( 'key' ) == 'mgr') return;

Is the home page set as the error_page in System Settings? If so, maybe a forward is failing and the plugin executes once for the original page and once for the error page/home page.

Hi,
sorry I took so long to respond. It seems that the answer lokamaya works. BobRay thank you, this could be the case (I still checked).

Thanks for your answers.

Correction
I had a mistake on the home page and error_page was also launched.

One trick is to put a check at the top of the plugin (replace 1 with the ID of the error page):

$docId = $modx->resource->get('id');

if ($docId == 1) {
  return;
}

Or use $modx->getConfig('error_page') wink

Hi,
thank you for your answers, but I prefer to simply correct the error because I need the error page.

The code I suggested is intended to correct the error (unless you need the plugin code to execute on the error page). Your error page will still work as always, the plugin just won't execute for that page.

@Susan: I think the OP is in Revo, in which case:

$modx->getOption('error_page');
