    Hey,

I have an iframe from YouTube's embed code and want to include it via a textarea TV; however, every time I try and add the element < iframe > into the textarea I get an endless save dialogue. Any other words or HTML elements seem absolutely fine.

What's strange is that it works locally, and on other servers, but not the live one. Is it possible for a host to 'blacklist' certain strings/elements from been written to a table?

I've attached an example of the TV.

I notice it's similar to this thread http://forums.modx.com/thread/74245/iframes-prevent-resources-from-saving-solved , which is solved, but didn't give an answer as to how to get iframe into a TV.

    Many thanks,
    Shaun

    • It is quite possible for a host to have a mod_security configuration set to block whatever they want to block. Blocking iframe is commonly done in an attempt to prevent some iframe-based injection exploits.

Yes, this was the case. Contacted host and they adjusted mod_security.
