Answered Resource tree reloads in its default state when loading resource

Description of Problem: The resource tree reloads in its default state when loading a resource.

Steps to Reproduce: Navigate to a resource in the tree on the second or deeper level in the tree structure and load it

Expected Outcome: Resource tree to show the loaded resource (and "highlight" it bolded) even if its not in the first level

• MODX Version: 2.2.5-pl
• PHP Version: 5.2.17
• Database (MySQL, SQL Server, etc) Version: mysql 5.1.60-log
• Additional Server Info: several other sites running on the same server without this problem, problem turned up weeks after initial install, probably site related, not server related
• Installed MODX Add-ons: Google Analytics Dashboard Widget, BreadCrumb, CodeMirror, EasyCopyright, getResourceField, getResources, If, MIGX, phpThumbOf, selfLink, TinyMCE, UltimateParent, Wayfinder, xFPC
• Error Log Contents: (attach as file if it’s too large)

That sounds like a cookie/session issue. Try running the Security -> Flush All Sessions (it will log you out, since it clears all SESSION and cookies). Also try clearing your browser cache and cookies for the domain.

I did all that plus a reinstall but the tree still doesn't reload as supposed. I've used other (cleared) browsers and clients as well without success. Plus I noticed that resources aren't reliably saved -- I'm missing the "Save successfull." message from time to time. This is one of a dozen of technically very similar sites I did with MODX in the last few months and the first with this kind of problems. Any clues?

Since it is a production site I choose to duplicate the site, upgrade to 2.2.6 and see what happens -- problem gone on the new instance ... yet I don't know why. I reinstalled the old instance with 2.2.5 now mapped on a different subdomain, problem gone (previous reinstalls had NOT been successful).

• Additional Server Info: several other sites running on the same server without this problem, problem turned up weeks after initial install, probably site related, not server related
• Installed MODX Add-ons: BreadCrumb, CodeMirror, easycopyright, getrelated, getResourceField, getResources, If, MIGX, phpThumbOf, selfLink, TinyMCE, UltimateParent, Wayfinder
• Error Log Contents: Error Log is EMPTY

The problem is suddenly back on the original site and now another site got the same problem. Reinstall didn't work - seeking again for a solution. Got a copy of the problematic live site up as well to explore more deeply. Any new clues?
