I can't get Smartypants to download via the package manager. Also, when I download it manually and upload into the packages folder, it still doesn't show up in the Manager's package list when I select Search for Packages Locally. What gives? Anyone else have success installing this extra?
    • Hm. Definitely won't download. Just hangs on downloading; have to refresh the browser to get rid of it.

Would love to be able to use this addon within Revolution but sadly it looks like we can not at the moment?

Found php-smartpants (http://michelf.ca/projects/php-smartypants/) which seems to be what the addon is based. According to the github readme text you can install this via:

        ### With Smarty ###
If your program use the [Smarty][sm] template engine, PHP SmartyPants
can now be used as a modifier for your templates. Rename
"smartypants.php" to "modifier.smartypants.php" and put it in your
        smarty plugins folder.

I presume that you would copy this script into the core/model/smarty/plugins directory. Once that is done, how do you implement the plugin.

        Thanks in advance
