Answered After one year of working without problems, after trying to login to manager i get HTTP 500 (Internal Server Error)

    Hello all,

    one year ago i made a website using ModX Revolution 2.1.5.-pl.
    Everything was working fine, but now (without making any changes - except the owner of the site made content changes) when i try to login to manager
    I get HTTP 500 (Internal Server Error).

    I tried to do reinstall, but the problem still persist. When i open the error log, the only thing i can see is:

      There is similar topic on Smarty forum here http://www.smarty.net/forums/viewtopic.php?p=66366.

      Clear the cache manually by removing all files and folders inside core/cache/.

      And as U. Tews suggested in Smarty forum, add below line of code at the top of index.php (or into core/config/config.inc.php)

      ini_set('pcre.backtrack_limit', -1);
