Hi, I have installed various add-ons, some of which now have an option to upgrade to a newer version. I have amended default chunk content that were packaged together with the add-on(s), using the element tree.
If I choose to upgrade will this overwrite the amendments I have made to the chunks?
Yes, almost certainly. For most extras, you have the option to duplicate the chunks, modify the duplicates, and specify the duplicates in the properties of the extra. For most of them, you could probably rename your modified chunks and specify them in the properties, then upgrade the extra.
