Just looking for some advice only.
I am creating a site that will allow local Colleges the ability to register and once registered, add courses to the site, then also be able to login and un-publish, edit, delete or add new courses. And also be able to edit their profiles....all via the frontend.
Not sure which Snippets, Modules etc...would be best for this.

For registering/login etc. there is the login-extra.
Frontend creating/editing courses:
If you plan to have them as modx-resources: there is newspublisher. Or Formit together with a custum-hook like formit2resource.
for listing,filtering etc. you can use getResources
If you plan to have them in a custom-table: Formit and a custom-hook like formit2db.
for listing,filtering etc. you can use rowboat, or bloX for example.
For creating the xpdo-stuff and backend-management for this custom-table you can use MIGXdb, included in the MIGX-package.
