Hello,
since Evo 1.0.5 there is a setting under tools->configuration-> (tab 4) to use the settings of the TransAlias plugin not only to change special chars (like German Umlauts) in alias names but also to rewrite filenames when uploading during editing documents or in File Manager.
This is not working for me in 1.0.5, 1.0.6 or 1.0.7
The TransAlias plugin is set to german.trans in it's configuration and the file german.trans.php is in place, the SystemEvent also set to OnStripAlias
Rewriting alias names is working, but not changing file names ...
This is one of very few annoying things in MODx for the most of my clients/content editors, so I hope to find a solution finally.
