Upgrading from evo 0.9.6.1 to latest version

Hi,

I have inherited a very old modx site running 0.9.6.1 - just wondering if there is a easy upgrade path to 1.0.7 ? anything to watch out for?

The only thing to watch for is the old snippets. When I upgrade such an old version I take care not to overwrite the assets/snippet folder, and to uncheck the boxes to de-select the snippets in the upgrade install.

The old snippets should continue to work as before. You can upgrade them one at a time later if you want. The main problem is differences in the snippet properties; for example Ditto uses &parents instead of &startID, and if I recall correctly AjaxSearch has differences also in its snippet properties.

I did an 0.9.2 ->1.0.6 not too long ago and the only issue I had was with Ajax Search template. I don't recall running into an issue with Ditto. Not to say you shouldn't keep your eye open for it.
