Revo 2.2.6: JS/CSS Minify - why $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] in /manager/min/index.php?

If someone gets empty manager pages, we all know what to do: disable compression of js and css in the config. But what's the cause of the symptoms? In my case, it was a wrong path for $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'], on which the minifier in /manager/min/index.php relies on. Why that? In my experience, server variables are often not reliable.

Wouldn't it be better to use "MODX_BASE_PATH"?

Just set manager_js_document_root system setting.

Hmm... already did that, but it didn't change anything. BTW, this setting is not used in /manager/min/index.php, as far as I can see.

The path set in manager_js_document_root is correct, double checked that, but compression does not work this way. I had to change /manager/min/index.php by hand (setting $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']) to make it work.

44 and 94 lines. But I didn't check this feature.
