Guestbook

Hello everyone,

I am new a new modx user. Now y have a question is there a good guestbook module for modx.

Greetings Martin

Hey, I think you can use Ditto (http://ditto.modxcms.com/index.php) to create a guestbook. I haven’t figured how to do it yet so I just wrote a very simple guestbook script myself, I’d be happy to share the code.
But if you read the Ditto documenation it should all be there, I just didn’t have the patience to do it .

Use jot functionality to have GuestBook, Refer to Wiki.
@rich
You can add whatever you have done for MODx to the repository, find the "Add to the repository" link at right top of the repository page, find the link in my signature.

Ah I will have a look at Jot as well then, thank you.
It acctually says "Jot is a snippet for MODx and gives your site users the opportunity to enter feedback on your articles. Add comments to articles, create guestbooks..." , so there you are! I guess I should have checked it earlier.

But you can use Ditto for bloggs at least!

I will see if I don’t add the guestbook to the repository, just have to make a few minor modifications first.
It is just a very basic guestbook, but simple to set up at least, which might be what many users want.

You are welcome, ...Let the MODx users have more choice
