Cant access manager

Hi, I've just made a clean install of modx 2.2.4 but I cant access the manager at all. I can access any other folder via browser but not the manager. I've tried chmoding that folder different ways but no go, still no manager.

I am running a vps on ubuntu 11.04.
Any ideas what might have caused that?

I am having the same problem I think.
When I try access mysite.com/manager it just redirects to the home page.
I have tried doing a fresh install with the latest version of revolution and nothing changed.
I dont know if there is something I can check in the dB tables?

Something is converting the http to https. Was this done intentionally?

ok after extensive search I've found the problem. ISPmanager which I use to run my server uses manager- (domain.com/manager/ ). My solution was to change modx manager to something else.
