FURL's messing up my Articles blog posts

Hello,

I am having one last issue during the development of this site, When i turn on FURl's on it is completely messing up my articles blog posts.
The articles container is fine it show's up with the friendly alias, but once you click into the blog post it appends this onto the back end of the url

www.site.com/5/2012/11/27/donors/

It stripes all the CSS and formatting of the page.

Things tried:
I tried changing the alias template in articles from %Y/%m/%d/%alias/ to %alias and also tried %Y/%m/%d
but every time i try to save it MODX just puts the original one back in it's place(very frustrating)

I don't care what the url's look like for blog posts at this point i just want it to work [ed. note: jesseatomic last edited this post 13 years, 10 months ago.]

Nevermind, i just realized i didn't have <base href="[[++site_url]]" /> in the blog post template
