"l#.ULF-qYc0WSo" and tags such as this are being added to the end of my url. I tried to change the Articles URL Format on advanced tab. Any ideas?

Do you have hte AddThis widget installed? It appends such values to the end of URLs in order to track references. See this reference here and note the URL in the browser: http://support.addthis.com/customer/portal/articles/381263-addthis-client-api#.ULI-WOOe9es

It means that in your AddThis call you have the "data_track_clickback" set to "true"

PS: I changed this post to the type "Question" since you are looking for a solution and it can be marked as answered when solved to your satisfaction.
