Css and translation issue

Hello to everybody,

I have the following problem: In a modx installation (revo 2.2.0) when I press the logo to go to the first page the url changes like this: http://domain.com/domain.com.This is happening also when I try to change the language to en -I get the following:http://domain.com/domain.com/en/

Also I have another issue: While the pages without parent document are showing up correctly when I try to go to a parent directory the pages doesnt load the the css files the js etc..Some mistake is being done in links because instead of getting a link like this: http://domain.com/assets/css/global.css, I get this one:
http://domain.com/products/assets/css/global.css where "products" is the parent directory.
I suspect that these issues are connected and they have to do with the .htaccess file or in config.inc.php, but I dont know what changes to make..

Any help would be grateful,

do you have <base href="[[++site_url]]" /><!--[if IE]></base><![endif]--> in your <head> ?

and you can also try to write your link like this :
<script src="[[++base_url]]assets/js/myjs.js"></script>

A bit more information would be helpful. Is this a multi-language site using contexts?

Thank you for ur replies but I think i found the solution..I had wrong settings in the contexts.Everything is working fine now.I forgot to write "http://" in the siteURL
