I've been reading through the code but can't find where/how data submitted via the manager is validated on the server-side before being saved. I know ExtJS handles the validation normally, but is checking also done server-side? I haven't tracked down a form validation lib so mighty curious!

there is sanitizeRequest()

Thanks goldsky but I was meaning data validation e.g. "This is an email address", "This is 4 digits" etc

AFAIK, there is none for manager.
FormIt has it inside its own class.
