link directory with reciprocal checker

I want to make a new site using cms. I think modx is great as per the features i see, but a need a link directory with reciprocal link option.
Is it possible to create a link directory with reciprocal url checker with modx?
If not then is there a way to bridge phpld with modx?

MODx doesn’t impose any restrictions really on what you can or cannot create or integrate. It should be possible to bridge to existing solutions as a module.
