Hello,
I have some problems with MODx since few months. Sometimes, my manager become white, the problem is the cache.
I can repair this problem when i empty the cache in core/cache, and the cache of my browser. But these problems can be repeat few times in 1 hour, so I lose a lot of time with this problem.
I know that some people have the same problem, but someone can know why this problem is present all the time ?
I have MODX Revolution 2.2.5-pl (traditional)
Thanks for your attention, and i'm sorry for my bad english.

Hello,
Could you tell us about your hosting environment please?

The issue could be related to the use of a resource limiter such as CloudLinux. The cache may be big enough to hit some of their limits and truncating the output.
You might try running the site on another server to see if the issue persists. I can suggest the free hosting offer here:

I hope that helps some
Thans for your response.
The problem is not the size of cache because sometimes I must delete the cache 3 times in 20 minutes, and sometimes I have no problem during few months.
I think I am going to disable the cache on MODx.

You could still be hitting a resource usage limit, especially if you are using the manager at the same time. I don't know much about their specific server configuration, but it wouldn't be surprising if they have a time based resource usage limit. I suspect the problem is with your host's configuration. You might try out another host and see if the problem persists, if so it's something MODX related, otherwise your host is too limiting.
When I work on my local server (with MAMP), I haven't this problem. So you are right, the problem is the host configuration. But do you know what I must change exactly ?

If you are on a shared server then you will be unable to make the needed changes to resolve the problem. The only solution in this case would be changing hosts and/or upgrading to a VPS/Dedicated server where you are able to adjust the configuration.
If you are running a VPS/Dedicated server where you are able to adjust the configurations, then we need to look at your logs.
Thanks for your response. In the first time I will contact OVH to explain the problem, maybe they are a solution for me. If I find the problem, I will tell you.
