    Good day,

I need to create a page where articles can be posted and then archived in a menu. This sounds like a blog, however, I don’t want anyone to be able to comment or login. I just want them to go to the page and view the information.

Should there a simple way to do this? Would this be considered a guest book?

    Please send any thoughts.

    Thanks laugh

Perhaps I’m missing something. This sounds pretty much like ordinary MODx content pages. How is it different than normal pages? You want them listed by date? Who "posts" the article? Are they site admins, content managers, general public (oh my!)?

        Sorry embarrassed

A site admin will be updating the page periodically with information from a CEO. He gives her the articles and she posts them, and like a blog the other articles will fall below the new one. Also the menu should automatically archive the old articles. An example of what I am trying to do is :

        http://mod-blog.blogspot.com/

        * I don’t want the users to be able to comment at all.

Can this be done more simply then with a blog? I am having a very very very hard time setting up a blog so I am open to any other suggestions.

        Thanks

If I understand correctly the easy way would be the blog solution which you get when you install the test website during installation...and remove the {{comments}} chunk from at the bottom?
