I'm having trouble sorting out why the behavior is different between 2 modx sites I've setup.
I am using base href in the head of both sites.
I've got an in page link that looks like: <a href="[[~[[*id]]? &scheme=`full`]]#">My Link</a>.
On my newest site Revo 2.2.5, This link results in a new GET request any time the current page has a query string present.
ex:
url:
http://mysite.com/testpage.html?test=123
click link: Loads
http://mysite.com/testpage.html# but issues a new request (Reloads page)
url:
http://mysite.com/testpage
click link: Loads
http://mysite.com/testpage.html# and does not issue a request.
Now on my Revo 2.2.1 site...
url:
http://mysite.com/testpage?test=123
click link: Loads
http://mysite.com/testpage.html# and does not issue a request.
url:
http://mysite.com/testpage
click link: Loads
http://mysite.com/testpage.html# and does not issue a request.
The new page request breaks some multi-step javascript forms I have so I was hoping to find a way to prevent the reload of the page when clicking the link.
Thanks,
-Brian
