I'm giving up one of my clients (
http://deafbusiness.org/ ) and they are looking for someone to take over maintenance of the site. This is an ongoing task, as they arrange conventions every year and have a constantly changing list of speakers, presentations and locations. My eyes are bad and my time on the computer is limited. This is not a client that is ever "finished", and I simply don't have the time to be able to maintain their site and work on the projects that are more important to me. I've been trying to convince them to find someone else for a year now, but they are reluctant to do so.

What is the average work load like per month/year? I wouldn't want to commit to a project for it to drain my time from other clients you see.

Once the year's template is finalized, it comes to about 10 hours a month. This could probably be reduced if a more efficient method of handling speakers and presentations were developed; I just never bothered since it would take more time to develop or adapt something than to just use resources and TVs with Ditto. They do tend to want a lot of scrolling and other animations; you can look at the 2012 and 2011 sites to see the kind of things they like. They do want a responsive template this year, or some kind of mobile template at any rate. Last year they had two conventions; I don't think they'll try that again though. I just used the "site export" feature of Evo's manager to make a flat site of the previous year so the archive wouldn't take up so much space.

I started to build the 2013 on Revo. No more Evo
