Revo 2.2.5 Media sources. No delete rights (I think)

Hi,

I setup a couple of basic media sources to target the assets/images folder directly + a assets/files folder .
Goal is to avoid the redactor to deal with the full file tree.

Everything looks ok (picking up a file or an images already there) until I tried to write over a previous image (using the file browser from Tiny/ image management OR Manager File manager).
When sending the news file (same file name to overwrite the previous file) there's no clue about a problem, but the file remains the same.

• Trying to simply delete it gives the same result.
• Trying to upload this way a file (not previously here) gives the same issue. No write right and no error msg.

Doing the same through the original "filesystem" media source works perfectly.

I'm lost in the forum MS threads. obviously i don't knows what to to do and where to look at now.

Try setting the folder permissions to 777

thank you but what's the relationship? If using the default "filsesystem" media source everything is ok, then the files permissions are not involved in this issue, does they ?

I tried..same pb.
I precise this happens whatever the modx account used in the manager (even the original admin).

• The very first upload from manager works (as soon as thre's not already a file named the same)
• When hovered, an image file DOES NOT generate a preview thumbnail (But this happens normally when in original "filesystem")
• Trying to rename a file in the MS fires an error telling the server does not have permission to update the folder... even if the image folder was chmoded to 777...

Oh something I did not see before:
I created a ASSETS MS wich tragets the /assets/.. folder.
This is the parent for images/ and files/ (the other 2 MS)

With the very same settings there's no issue with the assets MS !!!
