mxCalendar list items not clickable

I tried to search, thinking I'd seen this posted before but the search is inadequate and the results are years old or irrelevant.
This works just as intended, in one resource. But if I use it in another, the event links are not clickable.

The source shows:

This site's working less detailed call on home page (doesn't work on another resource):

The call I'm wanting to use is below, which works just fine on another site. (copied and parameters adjusted for second site):

I like mxCalendar, but it's really finicky for some reason. I just don't get it. At least this time I'm getting the list display proper like.

Hey again Frogabog,

I don't want to bash this component because it has sooo much potential, but at least for myself I was seeing the same finickyness you are and it was frustrating to use because it would work right in one situation but not in another. All the bells and whistles seemed to take away from the stability of a really well thought out calendaring solution and at least to me it seems like it should be rethought, rebuilt or just scaled back some to possibly help the stability.

For myself I went back and forth between MX and Eventscalendar2 and finally ended up embracing EV2. And really other than the reoccurring events you can accomplish anything MX can with EV2 coupled with getResources. Including different calendar displays like lists, large and small calendars for widgets or full page display, separate event groups that all show up on the same calendar or on separate calendars on different pages, and simple event registration solutions with PayPal/forms which was a major road block for me to accomplish smoothly in MX.

In case you're interested Willi Walzenegger made a couple nice tutorials for EV2 and has implemented it great.

These helped me anyway and I've since expanded on them for my purposes. I can show you examples of my deployments if you'd like to see, but EV2 definitely has my vote for its simplicity and rock solid nature.

Thanks Eric, I may end up doing the same and I would be very interested in seeing your examples.

For the moment with this site, I'm going to hold out for Charles to take a look and see if there's anything that is incorrect. It's hard to give up on mxCalendar, it does have a lot of potential and I do hope to get the kinks worked out soon. The new custom forms and placeholders information will be my next deep read.

I did a little documentation today at the rtfm, just the basic stuff that was missing and examples of future and past events lists.
