    Hi All,

Sorry if the question already have been asked but still. I am new in Modx but I would like to develop some projects on it.

I use the most recent REVO installation. There is a folder /core/packages which contains packed transport packages as .zip files and folders with the extracted transport packages.
I would like to have a continuous deployment from DEV to PROD.
So, which deployment scenario should be used for transport packages:
    1. Should I remove folders with extracted packages and deploy only .zip files?
    2. Or I should remove .zip files, pack the extracted folders as .zip and than remove the folders?
    3. Or I should deploy .zip and all folders (there is a lot of files and it is slow)?
    4. Or I should use some build scripts to pack folders to .zip and than remove it?
Thank you for any information you could provide!

    Kind regards,
    Pavel

I don't really understand your question, but generally you shouldn't do anything manually with the files in core/packages other than copying in new transport.zip files.

MODX keeps info about them in the DB and if you mess with them (except in Package Manager) Modx will get confused.
