Has anyone installed the Revo manager on a different server from the www server. It means I could put the manager on a server behind a firewall that only allows users in the building to have access.
I was thinking of
Installing Revo twice, once on each server
On www server
a. Point the database connection to the manager server
b. Maybe cut down the mysql privileges. Does the www only need SELECT?
c. Delete the /manager folder
d. Store images on an independent media source
Will this work or is it a bit idiotic?

Well, at least for me the rtfm is behaving very badly today, but it does mention having various parts on different servers.
