I met with a client today that was having trouble changing the color of text with TinyMCE. We would basically highlight the word, click the color button in TinyMCE and it wouldn't change. This seems to work fine in Safari and FF just not IE.

In the HTML It adds a span style in front of the word but only seems to make the color black instead of the color we choose.

I believe we were using IE9 and I built the site with MODX Evo

Thank you in advance for any advice you can give me.
    • How difficult would it be to convince the client to use Firefox or Chrome instead? MODX never has and never will play well with IE 100% of the time. The best solution is to use a decent browser.

Or, teach the client to use the css button instead of the text color button. Then they can wreak all kinds of havoc in the content area.
